In 1999, she founded Sista 2 Sista of NC, mentoring and teaching women in a variety of venues from a Titus 2 perspective. She established the "Gain and Maintain a Healthy Marriage" organization with her husband of 32 years. This woman of God knows the Bible and is anointed to prolifically speak sound doctrine. She lives up to the call, moving forward the work of God as both a motivational and inspirational orator. She is the Writer and Primary Editor of the Church of God in Christ Publishing House (YPWW) Young People Willing Workers curriculum, editor of the Sunday School Curriculum of the Church of God in Christ and Vice-chairman of the National Editorial Review Commission. She is the Jurisdictional Elect Lady of the Department of Evangelism for the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Virginia and the Regional Elect Lady for the International Department of Evangelism (Region 7) covering the states of Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington, DC, and the Eastern Shore. She is a District Missionary in the Philippines. She was chosen as the 2013 Who's Who Executive Business Woman for the Professional Business Women's Federation and is a pseudonym author. She is the dean of the L.C. Page School of Evangelism for the International Department of Evangelism of the Church of God in Christ.
Married to Pastor Stanley Sanford, Dr. Irether Sanford is the mother of four wonderful children; a daughter, two sons, and one son-in-love. Her most important, greatest accomplishment and testimony is that she is saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost; called and equipped to make for proof of the ministry in the work of evangelism. Her level of integrity is unparalleled as she declares the Word of God in Spirit and in Truth. The word is hid in her heart and she studies to show herself approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth.
A studios business woman with a professional certification in management, Dr. Irether Sanford is the epitome of balance and elegance with a jovial disposition and a wonderful sense of humor. She often says with a smile, "God saved me from sin, not sense." This keep it real mentality shows that she can laugh and play. But she does not play around with the Word of God. "God's Word is a serious matter. Know the truth. If you can't say Amen; Say ouch!".
